I have been using Lotus Moon’s Shea Butter for nearly 5 months and I recently purchased my second jar. I wash my hair every Saturday morning and apply the Shea Butter to my hair while it’s still damp. I only use it once a week but when it’s time for me to re-wash my hair the following Saturday, my hair still feels very moisturized and it is much easier to detangle both before and after washing it. Although I have been taking biotin supplements for well over a year, in addition to using a hair oil that is comparable to Lotus Moon’s Shea Butter, the improvements to my hair intensified once I added the Shea Butter to my hair care routine. After maintaining a very short haircut for a few years, my hair has grown longer and healthier than ever before. It is currently about 3 inches from being nipple length and I can honestly see more growth as I wash it each week. I haven’t visited a hairstylist in a couple of years as I am very good at doing my own hair to include trimming it, but when I would get my hair done, I was often told that I had a mixture of hair types, which for me was a 3C and 4A, with the latter being more dominant. However, there is now a very noticeable difference in my overall hair texture as it seems to be more 3C dominant. While the biotin supplements and hair oil have had a significant impact on my hair, I can truly say that the softer texture became more apparent once I began using Lotus Moon’s Shea Butter.

I read a review another person posted about this shea butter working wonders in the Colorado winters. As a fellow Coloradan, I decided to give this shea butter a try and it’s a love at first use situation. I apply multiple times a day and it makes me feel giddy every time. Little pockets of self-care throughout my day. And my elbows are so youthful looking and feeling!
